The double disc “File Under Oblivion” had ended the Unfolk project in 2020 but for many reasons its promotion was pending. The first full-fledged solo CD, “Monti” represents the opposite of the final album. No Collective of musicians, but only some acoustic guitar files, many samples and countless sound processing in complete isolation until the conclusion where a real remote trio plays; here is the description from the liner notes:“being a “guest star”, a special guest in your first solo work seems surreal, but in reality this is what happens: I made this work using only a few pieces of real acoustic guitar, the rest is virtual. For weeks I have collected, assembled, processed, altered, edited sounds, found the right harmonies from many sources shared freely on the net. At a time when a real “physical” collaboration with other musicians was not possible, it seemed like the right way to go. A series of brand new compositions have come out, thanks to diverse sources which are originally the result of the work of many people, most of them impossible to identify in the ocean of the web. That’s the reason why I felt like a guest star in the project. The idea behind the process is explained in the short text of the last track, “We are the guest stars”:
