[News] Antinode release the video for “Molo (the Serpent)”

Seattle’s newest prog-rockers, Antinode, are excited to debut their first ever performance with a special social-distanced video. The song, “Molo (the Serpent),” with its dynamic textural shifts, sprawling structure, and intriguing conceptual narrative, exemplifies the qualities of Antinode’s particular brand of energetic and ambitious progressive rock.

The band was conceived by singer/guitarist Travis Corwin, with its full line-up coalescing in January of 2020. It was a time of heady optimism as the group looked forward to arriving onto the Seattle scene with their first live performance, just as the world looked forward to the promise of a new decade. Now, in the sobering reality of June 2020, a global pandemic makes the future of live rock shows uncertain. Not content to wait, Antinode decided to create this video, with each member of the band recording their performance from the safety of their own home.

You can watch the video now on the Antinode YouTube page. “Molo (the Serpent)” will be the first track on their upcoming debut EP, which, conditions allowing, they plan to go into the studio to record later this year.
