[News] File System publish the first album “Rootkit” in streaming

File System‘s Press release:

On December 29th the first album of the Italian prog band FILE SYSTEM was released online on all the main digital stores, anticipated by the single “Rootkit” already released in May.
It is an instrumental prog where metal and prog 70 ‘sounds are mixed, all inspired by futuristic and sci-fi themes.

The file systems were born in 2018 from the partnership between Simone Fellini and Marco Savoini (Five Minutes Hate) united by the desire to experiment with new sounds far from the projects in which they were engaged at the time.
Starting from the inspiration of seminal bands such as Dream Theater, Tool or Porcupine Tree, the duo begins to play and compose music for about a year, in the meantime they join the project Andrea Mina and Andrea Prebilic who help to bring to completion the music imagined by the two introducing new influences.
The band’s background ranges from progressive rock to extreme metal going through classical music, jazz and electronics.
