Legendary Italian Prog Rock band The Trip to release new album “Now The Time Has Come” on October 13, 2023 via Ma.Ra.Cash Records.
This album is the new album with new and totally unreleased songs by The Trip, which Pino Sinnone (the band’s historic drummer) brought back to life in 2017 with a very good line-up that has enchanted the whole of Italy in the festivals and concerts in which it has participated.
From this lineup, with Andrea Ranfa, Tony Alemanno, Dave D’Avino and Carmine Capasso, who in 2021, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of “Caronte,” had already released “Caronte 50 Years Later” (vinyl and CD ) with Ma.Ra.Cash Record, and with the help of composer and pianist Max Botto, the new tracks of this album were born.
Spectacular guest is Nico di Palo of the New Trolls, who gives a very heartfelt interpretation of the song “Il Mio Capitano” written together with Pino Sinnone for his brother Rino.
The album is a cascade of sounds between Prog and Rock in a vein of freshness and imagination that is hard to find in new record releases. An album that can be enjoyed by fans but also by audiences less inclined to these musical genres precisely because it sounds very modern and it is nice to be able to listen to it again and again.
It will definitely be one of the best albums of the year.
