Patriarchs In Black, the project formed by Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Quiet Riot) and Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) has just completed the finishing touches on their second album, titled “My Veneration.” Just as happened with the debut “Reach For The Scars,” Kelly and Lorenzo have enlisted the help of a large roster of vocalists and bassists. Karl Agell (Corrosion of Conformity Blind/Lie Heavy) is back along with Rob Traynor of Black Water Rising. Mark Sunshine (Riotgod/Unida) sings along with hip-hop legend Darryl DMC of RUN/DMC on the track “Veneration.” You’ll also find performances by John “JD” DeServio (Black Label Society), Dave Neabore (Dog Eat Dog), Johnny Araya (yes, Tom’s brother) plus a cover of Kiss‘ “I Stole Your Love” with Johhny Kelly‘s brother Danny Kelly and many other guests including the use of violin and keyboard for the first time. “My Veneration” will be released in stores on Oct. 6, released worldwide by MDD Records. Stay tuned!
