After four singles, including one special collaboration with Leprous’s own Baard Kolstad in the song “The End of All Things,” Jakub Tirco released his new instrumental album “Alaska” on July 29, 2022.
Jakub says: “With Alaska, I felt the need to focus more on the guitar itself, while still incorporating a lot of what makes music sonically interesting for me. Whether it’s odd time signatures, octavers, weirdly processed synths and voices, or lush ambient sounds, these are the things that instantly grab my attention, and are probably the best descriptors of what this album sounds like.”
“Alaska” is nine songs of dream-like compositions like “Saudede” to epic loud finales such as in “Cocaine Lipstick” or “Hiraeth”. Available now in all digital stores.
