Bolstering their hypnotizing riffs, condemning synths and battering drums, Dutch Sludge/Doom collective Onhou share a music video for a new track off their second album “Monument”, which is set for release on December 9th via Lay Bare Recordings and Tartarus Records

Featuring Frank de Boer of Farer and Ortega as guest vocalist, “Ruins” is the closing song from  Monument and drags listeners deeper into dark, withering worlds where time is gruesome and unforgiving, and the echoes of what once was have long since been lost and forgotten.

Watch the video filmed by Henk Wobbes and edited by Alex Loots through the YouTube player below:

Onhou was founded in 2016 and consists of previous and current members of RavenwiekGrinding Halt and Ortega.
Based in Groningen, Onhou embodies their northern heritage by mixing desolate sludgy doom riffs with miserable post-metal atmospheres, embracing the sinister history of the soil that made them.
After releasing their self-titled first EP in 2018 on Tartarus Records and their first full length “Endling” on Lay Bare Recordings and Tartarus Records in 2019, Onhou established themselves as one of the heaviest bands in the northern Dutch territories.
Recorded and mixed at Soundlodge by Jörg Uken, “Monument” is once again a collaborative effort between Lay Bare Recordings and Tartarus Records and is set for release on December 9th.
