Vicenza, Italy based Doom Metal duo Starspawn Of Cthulhu published the official lyric video for the track “The Last Raft” taken from their new EP “The Cursed Vision,” which was released on January 28, 2023 via Talheim Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
Says the band: “The Cursed Vision is our third album. We focused these songs on the pain of single characters from Lovecraft’s tales, singing the cosmic horror they face through every struggle.”
Starspawn Of Cthulhu is a Lovecraft themed Doom Metal band born in Vicenza, Italy, in late 2019.
The line-up is formed by Roberto Biasin and Domenico Groppo.
“The Cursed Vision” is Starspawn Of Cthulhu’s third album, five songs that embrace the Doom Metal of the previous works with more clean vocals and synths without altering the style of the band: slow and mid-tempo grooves with weaving guitars and deep vocals.
Lyrically, this album talks about the pain and sensations of the single characters from Lovecraft tales going beyond the usual narrative of these. So a cursed vision which lead people to madness is a common thing that happens to these guys.
