Finnish Heavy Psychedelic/Occult Rock band Pääkallo unveil the second single “Levitoiva Nainen” taken from upcoming self-titled debut album due out on March 10, 2023 via Svart Records. Stream the official audio through the YouTube player below:
Pääkallo‘s mission is to bring surf guitars, Finnish melancholy, and macabre lyrics skills all together. The band includes members of Deathchain, Jess and The Ancient Ones and ex-Cosmo Jones Beat Machine, from Occult Rock fame through Swamp Blues to Death Metal. New self-titled album comes out in March 2023.
Behind the Pääkallo (“Skull“) moniker there’s a face familiar as the songwriter and guitarist of Jess and the Ancient Ones. Pääkallo injects a gallon of fresh blood into the corpse of Occult Rock with their macabre Finnish lyrics, nocturnal surf guitars and a pouring of that unmistakably Fenno-Ugrian sense of deep melancholy.
