German Psychedelic/Stoner/Blues Rock band Sound Of Smoke published the video of the making of their new LP “Phases” out on February 24, 2023 via Tonzonen Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
Sound Of Smoke is a four-pieced Psychedelic Soul & Blues Rock group from Freiburg, South-Western Germany. Since 2016 Sound Of Smoke is playing an independent mix of Stoner, Psychedelic and Blues Rock.
Elements of Stoner Rock and Soul create soundscapes to dive in, or Groovy, Heavy riffs to wipe out. The instrumental section of Sound Of Smoke has a evident confession for the early Psychedelia and vintage vibed Rock music. With her deep and warm soul-voice Isabelle Bapté forms the distinctive and individual sound of the band.
“Phases” was recorded in May 2021 in a 10-days all analog session at the Big Snuff Studio on tape in Berlin by Richard Behrens. Formerly, Behrens was the bass player for Samsara Blues Experiment. Nowadays, he’s an iconic mixer for several bands from the scene (Kadavar, Elder, etc.).
