In collaboration with Electric Spark Records, we’re proud to bring you a brand new Temple Fang album “Live At Freak Valley.” This isn’t just a recording of any old performance, but rather a live album containing a single brand new 47-minute song titled “Grace,” which is not currently available on any studio album. Temple Fang quickly became one of our – and many others’ – favorite current live bands after seeing them a few times on their 2022 festival run. This performance and recording are indicative of the raw emotional power on display when the band hits the stage.
Release date is set for April 21st.
Five minutes before hitting the stage at Freak Festival in June 2022 , we ditched our original plan for the setlist and decided to just play a new track we had been developing on this tour, a mammoth of a song called “Grace.”
On what turned out to be the hottest day of the summer everything, band and audience, seemed to come together during this set and we were lucky to find that our sound-engineer Niek had pressed record.
We have attempted to record this track in the studio several times, but the version presented here kept telling us this was the One, the version we should release. So here it is, in all its glorious imperfection, “Grace” live at Freak Valley.
