Glorious Wolf is a Dutch studio project by Ruud Dielen, who gives shape to his passion for Prog Rock. The love for the 70s Symphonic, Psychedelic & Progressive Rock and vintage instruments can certainly be heard in the music. Bands like Pink Floyd, Camel, Yes, Genesis, Rush and Marillion are still great examples, but the more Experimental King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Frank Zappa have also not passed him by.
After four years of training in studio and recording techniques, renovation and acoustics of the studio and the necessary purchase of peripheral equipment, monitors and microphones, etc., with the help of experienced studio technicians, a big step forward has been made in terms of recording level and there are 7 new songs ready for release. The new album is called “Mysterious Traveler” and is about the transformation our world is currently in. The agitation/unrest, wars and climate change force us to think more carefully about how we treat each other and mother Earth.
The album has many influences: Rock, Progressive, Experimental, always Melodic.
