The supergroup Sun Dont Shine, featuring Kenny Hickey (ex-Type O Negative), Johnny Kelly (ex-Type O Negative), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar, Down) and Todd Strange (Crowbar, Down), has released the official video for their new single “Coming Down.” The track is taken from their forthcoming debut EP, also titled “Coming Down,” due out in July 2025 via Corpse Paint Records.
The single showcases the band’s signature blend of Doom-laden riffs, Atmospheric melancholy and raw emotional intensity, elements that reflect the musical legacy of the members’ previous bands while forging a fresh identity.

“Coming Down” delivers a powerful blend of crushing riffs, haunting atmospheres and emotionally charged vocals. The song embodies the dark, Heavy spirit of the band’s combined musical heritage while forging a fresh, dynamic identity. This is the band’s second official release under the Sun Dont Shine moniker, following “The Promise Song,” released earlier this year.
Under the band’s original name EYE AM, Sun Dont Shine had already released two singles: “Dreams Always Die With The Sun” (June 2023) and “Cryptomnesia” (November 2023), both via Corpse Paint Records. The accompanying music videos for these songs were shot and directed by Mike Holderbeast at OCD Recording And Production.
