Esthesis is a French Post-Progressive and Alternative Rock project. Formed and led by Aurélien Goude (music & lyrics, keyboards, vocals), the lineup also includes Arnaud Nicolau (drums), Marc Anguill (bass guitar), Rémi Geyer (lead guitar) and Mathilde Collet (backing vocals).
Between Cinematic atmospheres, Art Rock experiments and sharp riffs, Esthesis‘ music invites the listener on a melancholic journey through airy and powerful atmospheres, with Industrial and Progressive touches.
The band already released 2 full-length albums (2022, 2020), both available on beautifully crafted editions on French independent label Misty Tones. Esthesis has been acclaimed by many Rock magazines, selling nearly 3,000 physical copies of their first two albums (“The Awakening” and “Watching Worlds Collide”), and was awarded “Album of the Year” by Album Rock in 2022.
During their latest tour (2022-2024), Esthesis played notably at the Poppodium Boerderij as a headliner (with John Mitchell on support), at the Night Of The Prog Festival (Loreley) opening for Soen and Leprous, and at Motocultor Festival with Crippled Black Phoenix, Myrath and Opeth.
Their new single, “The Frame”, will be released on 20th June, with a brand new music video.
A third album, “Out of Step,” will follow on 3rd October 2025, still on Misty Tones.
