Khan is a three-piece Heavy Progressive Psych band from Melbourne, Australia.
Khan meld hazy Psychedelia and Heavy Stoner riffs with a penchant for Progressive rhythms and almost dirge-like, industrial- scale crescendos. The songs are lyrically evocative, often exuding a sense of despondency and melancholy. Vocally, they waver from ethereal falsetto and hypnotic crooning to impassioned wailing punctuated by occasional guttural screams.
Khan’s fourth studio album “That Fair And Warlike Form // Return To Dust” released in 2025. The album conceptually explores the suffering of a man possessed by the spirit of the god of death, Erlik (Turkic/Mongolian mythology).
