From the recently unearthed archive of Ohr Records and Virgin Records photographer Marcel Fugère.
In 2015, Hamburg-based photographer Marcel Fugère passed away, leaving behind an archive of tens of thousands of images spanning his entire career. Among the countless shots of theatre, dance, and music, were those of Tangerine Dream — a fledgling Berlin-based band he would shadow during the early 1970s. Those images — the bulk of which haven’t been seen in over 50 years — are presented here.
“Movements of the Visionaries – Tangerine Dream: Through the Lens of Marcel Fugère Volume I – 1972-1974” is a large-sized, coffee-table, hardcover book and has about 220 pages showcasing over 480 colour and b/w photos.
With a foreword by former Tangerine Dream member Peter Baumann, this is the first of two volumes (“Volume II” coming in 2027).
The book will be accompanied by a special artful bookmark.
