UK instrumental Progressive Rock artist Steve Hughes has unveiled the official full stream for his new album, “Futurespective,” released on February 10, 2026.

Emerging from The leafy suburbs of West London in the early 90’s, Steve Hughes began as a drummer, Hoping to realise his RnR Dreams. Flunking school, He learned to play Drums, with all good intention and energy, but rather naively, he joined lots bands at the same time, survived a very strange band called The Enid Did hundreds of gigs with ‘many a 4th Rate pub band.’ And then decided to go it alone.

  1. Awesome Album, Modern Synthy Prog, Shame it doesn’t have vocals but a must-have all the same. Awesome Production too!

We agree that vocals can add another dimension, but in this case the instrumental approach really allows the textures, dynamics, and synth work to take center stage.
