Ghost on Mars Release New Single on the Anniversary of Francesco Di Giacomo’s Passing.
On February 21, 2014, one of the most important voices in Italian Progressive Rock left us: Francesco Di Giacomo.
Vocalist of the legendary band Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Di Giacomo — an extraordinary artist and lyricist — has been defined as “the great voice of Italian progressive.”
On February 21, 2026, on the very same date and exactly twelve years after his passing, Italian Progressive Metal band Ghost on Mars release their new single: a cover of a Francesco Di Giacomo composition entitled “Il Senso Giusto.” Released and distributed by US label Willowtip Records, Ghost on Mars publish, for the first time, a track sung entirely in Italian. The Rome-based band has also released an English-language version of the same song: The Right Way. Both tracks are now available on all major digital streaming platforms.

The original song is featured on “La Parte Mancante,” a posthumous album released in 2019, also recorded at NMG Studio in Palestrina.
Ghost on Mars are currently working on their new album and organizing a series of promotional concerts for “Out of Time and Space” — which has received considerable critical acclaim — across Italy and Europe.
