After setting the stage with their first single “A Secret Place,” German instrumental Rock visionaries Long Distance Calling continue their journey into the darkness of their upcoming album “The Phantom Void” with the release of their second single, “The Spiral.”

Where “A Secret Place” opened the narrative with its tense and cinematic atmosphere, “The Spiral” pulls listeners even further into the album’s multidimensional core. The track begins with a mysterious, Atmospheric soundscape, evoking sensations of drifting through outer space, suspended between dimensions. The calm before the storm and suddenly, the calm erupts.
“The Spiral” explodes into a massive, uncontrollable surge of Heavy riffs and driving rhythms, capturing the feeling of being pulled into a vortex with no sense of direction or escape. The track embodies the album’s central themes: endless loops, collapsing realities, and the terrifying beauty of losing control. Its dynamic evolution, from ambient weightlessness to crushing intensity, showcases Long Distance Calling at their most focused, visceral, and narratively powerful.
