Örebro, Sweden based ’70s inspired Psychedelic/Progressive Rock band Jaerven have unveiled their new stand-alone single, “Viktlös,” released on March 13, 2026.

Hailing from Örebro, Sweden, Jaerven — whose name translates to “Wolverine” in Swedish — describe themselves as a “motley orchestra” drawing from the rich well of Psychedelic Rock and Pop of the ’60s and ’70s. Their music balances a solid Psych-Rock foundation with Pop hooks and Folksy Prog-Rock passages, while their lyrics oscillate between poetic kitchen-sink realism and nature-romantic dream sequences.
“Viktlös” (Weightless) is a track of many shades: inspired by Pink Floyd, Bigelf, Black Sabbath, and The Beatles, it moves through Heavy riffage and spacious atmospheres with a confident, unhurried hand — a genuine Progressive rock gem that wears its influences without being defined by them.
