Kitchener, Ontario Heavy Rock trio KROKA return with their second single “The Experiencer” off the upcoming debut album, “Believe It,” set for release on May 22, 2026 via Black Throne Productions.
Built on a catchy lead riff, asphalt-tinged Desert Rock, and strong hooks, “The Experiencer” highlights KROKA’s fascination with UFOs, cryptids and strange late-night encounters. The song leans into a mix of Heavy Rock and Desert Rock, with a direct, memorable sound that sounds like one of their strongest tracks to date.

Produced by Jason Taylor of The Obsessed, engineered by Frank Marchand, and mastered by Alan Douches, “Believe It” expands on the band’s Heavy, road-worn sound while embracing themes of unexplained phenomena, isolation, and the blurred line between fact and fiction.
Since forming in 2021, KROKA have steadily built a reputation across Ontario and Quebec through relentless live performances and preparing a catalog of riff-Heavy songs that balance heaviness, hooks and atmosphere.
Now with “The Experiencer”, they find themselves in the home stretch of releasing their upcoming album. The new album “Believe It” will be releasing across all platforms on May 22 and will have multiple features in the new upcoming series “Ropes” from Dead Mariachi Films & Fuego Pictures – the show also will be featuring bassist Beau Ferguson in 3 episodes and front-man Richard Fenna who featured in 4 episodes and composed the music for the whole series

Renowned for their electrifying live performances, soulful dual vocals, and asphalt-tinged Desert Rock grooves, KROKA has meticulously crafted a sound that is both raw and heavy, yet melodically rich and emotionally resonant. Their music features low-slung, fuzz-drenched riffs, thunderous rhythms, and soaring vocal lines, delivering a sonic punch that seamlessly merges the primal power of classic stoner rock with the catchy hooks synonymous with contemporary radio hits.
Founded in Kitchener, Ontario in 2021, KROKA derives its name from the Swedish word for “hook,” a fitting tribute to the band’s exceptional ability to create addictive, melody-driven songs that captivate audiences and transport them on an emotional journey. Drawing from a wellspring of inspiration that includes mythology, philosophy, and the grit of a life well-lived, KROKA’s music blurs the lines between the mystical and the mundane, the ancient and the contemporary, challenging listeners to confront the shadows that dwell in the recesses of their minds.
The core of KROKA’s sound is built upon a unique chemistry: a deep-rooted passion for Heavy Music, tempered by a commitment to clarity, groove, and simplicity. The band masterfully combines the gritty, slow-burning intensity of Stoner Rock with tight, layered vocal harmonies, resulting in songs that are not only headbang-worthy but also irresistibly hummable. Whether performing live or recording in the studio, KROKA invites listeners on a transformative voyage -one that traverses myth and memory, dive bars and desert highways, ultimately guiding them inward toward self-discovery.
After refining their distinctive sound in venues across Ontario, KROKA is poised to unveil their debut full-length album, “Believe It”, set for release in 2026. This collection is riff-heavy, emotionally charged, and unflinchingly blends beauty with brutality. With “Believe It”, KROKA aims to share their heartfelt conviction in the transformative power of Heavy Music — an art form capable of connecting, moving, and inspiring change within its listeners.
