Finnish Doomed Heavy Metal stalwarts Cardinals Folly are set to unleash their blistering seventh studio album, “Let the Posers Fall!” via Cruz Del Sur Music this Fall.
Marking a bold new chapter with the debut of a new guitarist, the album showcases a powerful shift toward traditional, riff-driven Heavy Metal songwriting while retaining the band’s signature Heavy footprint. Lyrically, “Let the Posers Fall!” delves deep into the macabre, drawing grim inspiration from notorious serial killers (“I Am The Zodiac“), the cosmic horror literature of H.P. Lovecraft (“Providence“), and vintage cult horror/exploitation cinema (“New York Ripper,” “Hitch-Hike“).
The band issued the following defiant statement regarding the upcoming release:
