Santiago, Chile based renowned Acid/Heavy Psych and Doom Metal ensemble Arteaga has officially released their haunting new single, “La Atormentada,” accompanied by an official video. This release serves as the definitive final preview before the arrival of the band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, titled “Proto Punk Travestido,” slated for a 2026 release.

“La Atormentada” plunges listeners into a Dark, Atmospheric narrative of nocturnal despair. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a soul “trapped” and “tormented by the night,” wandering aimlessly and seeking escape through the bottom of a glass. Sonically, the track stays true to Arteaga‘s signature blend of Acid Rock, Doom Metal, and proto-Metal, characterized by eerie textures and Heavy, crushing rhythms.
The single was recorded at La Mazmorra in Santiago, Chile, with mixing and mastering handled by Martin Pavez. The track features the distinct instrumental contributions of the current lineup:
