Rising Doom and Heavy Psych outfit Prophets of Thwaites has released the official live video for “Karzelek,” capturing the raw intensity of their performance at Musykfabryk in Heerenveen on April 4, 2026. Filmed by VoidManiac, the video serves as a visceral companion to the band’s latest EP, “Vulnerant omnes ultima necat,” which officially arrived on July 7, 2026.

Based in the Friesland/Groningen region of the Netherlands, Prophets of Thwaites has quickly garnered attention for a sound defined by contrast and long-form tension. Their music seamlessly bridges the gap between massive, slow-burning riffs and dreamlike, atmospheric vocals—a signature style that the band describes as a “mature step into a heavier, melancholic, and atmospheric doom/stoner sound.”
“Karzelek” is one of two bonus live tracks included in the new EP. The studio tracks on the release were originally written by Esma three years ago and brought to life through a singular, high-energy practice session with Nico’s Heavy drumming, aiming to capture a “raw, intense energy” that is mirrored in their live performances.
Fans of the band can expect the streaming release of “Karzelek Live” to hit all major platforms shortly. This live unveiling acts as a bridge toward the band’s next major milestone: a full-length album scheduled for release in Fall 2026.
The “Vulnerant omnes ultima necat” EP, featuring artwork by Dylan Hayes that captures the music’s apocalyptic atmosphere, is currently available for streaming and download via Bandcamp.
