Legendary Black Sabbath guitarist and Heavy Music icon Tony Iommi has officially announced his highly anticipated new solo album, “From The Dark,” scheduled for global release on October 23rd, 2026 via BMG.
Marking his first full-length solo effort in 21 years since 2005’s “Fused,” the Heavy Metal pioneer returns with eight sonic masterpieces that showcase his signature, earth-shattering riffs. The album was co-produced by longtime collaborator Mike Exeter.
Joining Iommi on this landmark record is a powerhouse lineup featuring powerhouse vocalist Jørn Lande, bassist Becky Baldwin, and drummer Karl Brazil.
The album’s explosive first single, “Over The Violent Sun,” is available to stream worldwide immediately following today’s exclusive YouTube premiere.

“From The Dark” will be available on all digital platforms, standard CD, and multiple limited-edition colored vinyl variants. A Deluxe CD Mediabook edition featuring a 32-page booklet and 2 exclusive bonus tracks will also be released.
