Solothurn Priestess

Belfast-based Alternative Post-Metal outfit Solothurn has officially launched a full-album visualizer for their latest EP, “High Priestess,” providing a synchronized aesthetic experience to accompany their dense, Atmospheric soundscapes.

The visualizer serves as a continuous journey through the record, bridging the gap between the complex arrangements of Tool and the ethereal, Heavy moods of Deftones. Following the success of previous releases like “Waves” and the 2025 single “Hollow,” this new project further solidifies Solothurn’s position within the contemporary Post-Metal landscape.

Emerging from the Northern Irish scene, Solothurn has cultivated a sound defined by a “reverb-drenched wall-of-noise.” Their approach filters the melodic grit of 90s Grunge and Alt-Metal influences—citing Alice in Chains, Quicksand, and Helmet—through the expansive lens of Post-Metal and Stoner Rock grooves. This latest visual offering captures the Heavy, rhythmic textures and “hook-laden vocals” that have become the band’s hallmark since their 2023 debut, “Servitude.”
