From today, you can listen to “Absence,” the second single from “Light and Shadow,” Saturna‘s new album that we will release on September 17, 2026.
While “Self told lies” showed the band’s more direct side, “Absence” explores a much more Atmospheric and emotional territory. The song moves between moments of restraint and bursts of intensity, revealing another of the many sides that can be found throughout the album.

The release comes accompanied by a new live video recorded at Siete Barbas Estudio. It’s the second track also from the live sessions that the band recorded to present the album, following “Self told lies.” The complete session, which also includes “Falling apart,” will be released on September 1st.
If you haven’t reserved your copy of “Light and Shadow” yet, pre-orders are still open. The album will be released on September 17 as a limited edition of 500 CDs and 750 vinyl copies, with the physical editions available through collaborations with Discos Macarras (ES) and Ripple Music (US). The vinyl release will include both a marbled edition (with exclusive flyer and sticker) and a classic black vinyl edition.
