Wapassou Ludwig

Wapassou was a unique Symphonic/Progressive Rock band from Strasbourg, France, established in the early 1970’s. Their obscure eponymous debut LP was more Psychedelic flavoured, akin to Catharsis. After that they made a trilogy of albums, all involving long complex suites with guitar, violin, keyboards and female voice, exploring a mystical, classical hybrid all of their own, especially unusual for the lack of percussion. Further albums into the 80’s were different again, blending Pop and modern neo-Prog styles.
