“”World Gone Crazy” came together around a feeling we think a lot of people are sitting with right now, this sense that , everything is a little broken and you’re not sure whether it’s the world that’s lost it or you. The title track is really the thesis for the whole EP: watching the news, watching the promises made to our generation quietly disappear, and constantly asking “is it just me, or has everything gone crazy?” That question runs underneath all five songs.

From there it moves between two kinds of falling apart, the world around you and the relationships inside your own life. “Some Things Never Change” is about the exhaustion of watching the same cycles repeat and feeling powerless to stop them. Then “Strangers” and “Carcinogen” turn that inward, into love that didn’t end cleanly and love that’s genuinely bad for you but that you keep going back to anyway. We wanted to sit honestly in those contradictions, still being wounded and refusing to admit it, needing the very thing that’s hurting you.

But we didn’t want to leave people in the dark. “Fall Apart” is the note we close on, and it’s the most important one to us: sometimes things just fall apart, and that’s okay, because there’s still a way out through it. If there’s one theme tying the whole thing together, it’s that you can be fully aware of how chaotic and heavy things feel and still refuse to give up. That tension between disillusionment and resilience is the heart of the record.

After the wide success of their 2023 S/T EP, Sakoya are back with their strongest songs to date! There is something for every hard rock fan in this EP, from the crushing opening track “Strangers” to the anthemic allure of EP title-track “World Gone Crazy.” It’s hard not to imagine this band launching into the stratosphere.

Busting out of Indiana in the heartland of America comes Sakoya, an outfit ready to take the scene by storm. This American hard rock band sports a polished, refreshing sound bound to get stuck in heads. Vocalist Alex Nauth fronts Sakoya with the backbeat of drummer Josh Randolph and catchy riffs of guitarist Mike Dobbs.

Sakoya provides elements of 2000’s Rock/Metal with a modern spin, giving a potent, aggressive delivery with meaning behind the tunes. With captivating choruses and memorable melodies, Sakoya‘s anthemic brand is quickly on the rise after their 2025 EP “New Man.” Now, Sakoya’s new music in 2026 already has fans itching for more; their first single “Some Things Never Change” is already making waves in the Rock community, with more this year to come as the band has been writing with Breaking Benjamin’s Keith Wallen.
