Montreal Heavy Rock quartet Hazemind have unveiled official full stream for their debut full-length album, “Inner Sanctum,” released on September 4, 2026.

Formed in Montreal in April 2022, Hazemind began as an instrumental collaboration when René “Bits” Hosson, Mathieu Pelletier, and Elliot Cadieux began jamming in Hosson’s rehearsal space. The trio later relocated to a dedicated creative space, dubbed Hazemind HQ, spending two years refining a sound heavily rooted in Stoner Rock, Desert Rock, and Hard Rock. The lineup was finalized with the addition of vocalist Jonathan Lachapelle, who joined after the initial two-year development period.
“Inner Sanctum” consists of nine tracks that showcase the band’s Heavy riffs and raw, Stoner Metal textures. The record was captured at Hazemind HQ between June and October 2025, with recording handled by Elliot Cadieux and Christopher Patrinos. Cadieux also produced and mixed the album, while mastering was completed by Carl Saff.
Lyrically, the album addresses themes of isolation, escape, and internal conflict. The driving opener “Burning Fuel” sets a fast-paced tone, while the sprawling, seven-and-a-half-minute “Mountain” shifts from Atmospheric Rock into heavier, more aggressive Stoner Metal territory. Elsewhere, tracks like “Welcome To The Void” and “Broken Ropes” explore darker emotional terrain, leading into the spoken-word piece “Interruption” (performed by Charles-Indy Cadieux), the intense “When The Leader Speaks,” and the two-part closing sequence “The Shell.”
