Formed in Mexico City in 2023, the band merges Heavy Psych and Psychedelic Rock influences with Progressive Rock arrangements.
The track marks the second single extracted from the group’s upcoming album, “Mycelium.” Officially issued on October 02, 2026, the piece carries historical resonance, taking direct thematic inspiration from the tragic events of October 02, 1968, at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco, Mexico City.
Musically, “Buscando una Razón” features an expansive instrumentation delivered by an eight-piece lineup. The core performing ensemble consists of lead vocalist Roy Cabrera, guitarist Evan Linares, drummer David Trejo, keyboardist Baruch Hernandez, and bassist Israel Mejia. The group’s rhythmic and Melodic texture is further augmented by percussionist Adalid Navarro on congas, alongside a dual-saxophone section featuring Carlos Greko and Enrique Muñoz.
The visual artwork for the release was created by guitarist Evan Linares. Audio recording was conducted by engineers Aldo Pacheco, Diego Pacheco, and Jorge Trejo, with Trejo also overseeing mixing and mastering duties.
