Solimpulse, the Post-Rock project of Ukrainian musician and composer Serhii Lykhotvor, will release debut EP, “Tidefall,” on November 20, 2026. The five-track release runs for just over 22 minutes and features guest vocals by Yulia Lykhotvor of Sidus Atrum on two tracks.
The sea is a recurring theme throughout “Tidefall,” both in its imagery and in the way the music unfolds. The guitars and ambient layers take their time, with the quieter parts gradually giving way to heavier passages. Vocals are used sparingly, remaining part of the overall sound rather than taking centre stage.
A first look at the EP is available now with the lyric video for “No Horizon.” The track features Yulia Lykhotvor on vocals and centres on repetition and the sense of moving forward without knowing what lies ahead.

“Tidefall” is an album shaped by distance, silence, and the movement of the sea.
Slow crescendos, Atmospheric textures and sparse vocals move through themes of solitude, memory and disappearance.
No shore. No return. Only motion.
