American Doom Metal band Silvertomb — featuring former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly — has released new single and lyric video “Brain Matter / No God” from their long-awaited second studio album, “The Interpretation Of Nightmares,” set for worldwide release on November 13, 2026, via Steamhammer.
Ending a seven-year hiatus since their 2019 debut full-length “Edge Of Existence,” the band returns with a renewed vision and an atmospherically dense masterwork of Heavy, brooding Metal.
Following the momentum of their debut and a tour with Monster Magnet that was derailed by global lockdowns, the band faced an extended pause compounded by personal and external hurdles. Now, the quintet channels those trials into a heavier, more mature sonic landscape that elevates their signature gloom.
Formed in New York in 2017, Silvertomb features a heavyweight roster of veteran Rock and Metal musicians: Kenny Hickey (vocals, guitar; ex-Type O Negative, Patriarchs In Black, Sun Dont Shine), Johnny Kelly (drums; ex-Type O Negative, Danzig, Sun Dont Shine), Joe James (guitar; Inhuman, ex-Agnostic Front), Hank Hell (bass; Inhuman, ex-Sheer Terror), and Aaron Joos (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals).
Pre-Order “The Interpretation Of Nightmares” now. Physical editions (CD and 12″ black vinyl) are available for via the Metal Injection Webstore and Steamhammer.
