A.M.E.N. the famous and eclectic project led by clarinetist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Vittorio Sabelli, officially announce the release of their new album “The Book of Lies (Liber II)“. The record will be available in April, published by My Kingdom Music.
Known for his extraordinary ability to blend Avantgarde Metal, Jazz, contemporary music, and dark, evocative atmospheres, Vittorio Sabelli returns to the helm of the A.M.E.N. project with a work that roots itself between sonic research and dramatic tension.
If the previous “Argento” explored acoustic sounds featuring only the voice of Erba del Diavolo, this new chapter takes up and develops the experimentation started with “The Book of Lies (Liber I)” and its deep themes linked to the writings of Aleister Crowley.
The sonic imprint of the new album, in perfect balance between Avant-Garde, free Jazz, and Extreme Metal, evolves by evoking the visionary approach that belonged to John Zorn in recounting esotericism through sound, and the revolutionary sounds of Celtic Frost. The growling vocals of Matteo Vitelli, the dissonant strings of P-Kast, and Sabelli’s clarinets guide seven intense tracks rich in nuances through a path that alternates lightning-fast blast-beats, Doom sections, noise drifts, psychedelic digressions, and dreamy atmospheres, redefining once again the unique identity of A.M.E.N., a project designed for those who love to push beyond the conventions of classic musical genres.
“With this new work I wanted to explore even more visceral and contrasting territories” declares Vittorio Sabelli. “A.M.E.N. has always been a space of total expressive freedom, and this album fully represents the tension between avant-garde, extreme sounds, and the continuous sonic research that has always defined the identity of A.M.E.N.“
