Independent record label Space Goat Records has officially launched its debut split release, uniting Southern Illinois power trio Erosions and Las Vegas Doom band Psalm. Released on October 31, 2026, the six-track record marks the first split release for the Denver-based label, founded by Jason Doome (Grand Rapids Doomfest) and Sean Brooks (The Heavy Underground Farm Report / HUFR FEST).
The split contrasts two distinct geographical origins and generational spectrums, bringing together raw analog tracking and polished modern studio production within the Heavy Psych and Stoner Doom landscape.

Recorded live on December 6, 2025, using a 2-inch reel-to-reel tape format at Apple Tree Studio 2 in Rock Island, Illinois, Erosions deliver a raw, analog-driven side engineered by Pat Stolley. The session was mastered by Quin Hermann at Q Recordings in Freeport, Illinois. The band’s lineup features Rocky (vocals, guitar), Tom-T (bass), and Gregg (drums).

Representing Las Vegas, Nevada, Psalm recorded their three tracks during June 2026 at Paradise Records in Anaheim, California. The material was engineered, tracked, mixed, and mastered by Colin Knight, who co-produced the session alongside band members Jon Torres and Ian Henneforth. Psalm’s lineup includes Jon Torres (vocals, guitar), Juan Arturo (guitar), Jeremy Aceves (bass), and Ian Henneforth (drums).
