Stream “Mycelium” in full via the YouTube player below:

Formed in Mexico City in 2023, the group blends Heavy Psych, Psychedelic Rock, and complex Progressive arrangements influenced by the soundscapes of their native city. Recorded between April and June 2026, “Mycelium” presents a six-track musical journey centered around interconnectivity and philosophical reflection.

Discussing the core concept and thematic foundation behind the record, the band stated:

Mycelium is our first full-length album, combining our historical roots with our current influences. Touching on social, personal, and philosophical themes, it blends the rhythms that the periphery of Mexico City brought to our ears. The title refers to the underground network that keeps everything connected – the mycelium – serving as a metaphor for a network humanity should look up to as an example. Everything is interconnected underground before blooming on the surface.

The record features founding members Evan Linares (guitars), Angel David Trejo (drums), Baruch Hernandez (keyboards, organ, synths), and Israel Mejia (bass). The lineup is expanded by guest contributors Adalid Navarro on congas and percussion, saxophonists Carlos Greco and Enrique Muñoz, vocalists Corinne Herrera (on “Tloque Nahuaque“) and Roy Cabrera (on “Buscando una razón“), as well as Oscar Volado, who contributes poetry on “Misterios.”

Recording sessions took place at Coyote Cosmic Studio with engineers Aldo Pacheco and Diego Pacheco. Additional recording, mixing, and mastering were completed at Rec-On by Jorge Trejo. The original album cover artwork was created by @wol_06.
