The celebrated all-female Psychedelic Rock quartet Lucidvox returns with their first new music since the release of their acclaimed second album “That’s What Remained” in 2023. Their sound continues to evolve—melding ritualistic folk melodicism with swirling shoegaze textures and the driving pulse of Krautrock. As always, Lucidvox‘s music is a stunning, immersive experience.

Guitarist Galla Guintovt tells us this about the track:
“We were thinking about the poignant Ataxia (the American supergroup that included John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers) when we recorded the song in Belgrade and Moscow. The track is about the fear of losing closeness with a loved one. My son and I were reading a book before bed, and he told me that tomorrow he’ll fall asleep by himself.
A car drove by, and the light from its headlights lingered on the ceiling. I felt such sorrow, knowing that we are drifting apart. It’s not easy to let go of loved ones, to part ways, even when you know it’s for the best.
And in general, this is a difficult time for us, if we could talk about some kind of community that existed at home, that was home, we are all drifting apart, acquiring new identities.
The important and very acute feeling for me now is the emptiness that is yet to be filled.“
