London’s Camden Club is set to host an unforgettable afternoon of Progressive Rock on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, featuring the renowned John Mitchell with Jez Fielder and the acclaimed SSB (Sloane Square Band).
John Mitchell and Jez Fielder share a captivating acoustic chemistry, their intertwining guitars and vocal harmonies creating a powerful storytelling experience. They blend heartfelt narratives, compelling melodies, and moments of light-hearted banter.
John Mitchell, a multi-instrumentalist and member of Arena, Frost*, and It Bites, among others, releases his solo music under the pseudonym Lonely Robot. John also masterminded the bands Kino and The Urbane and played bass for alternative rock band A. He performed live with the likes of John Wetton (Asia) and Martin Barre (Jethro Tull) to name a few. John is also a record producer and sound engineer at Outhouse Studios, his own recording studio in Reading, UK, where he has recorded and produced music for a number of mainstream rock artists including Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Steven Wilson, Don Broco, Architects, Funeral for a Friend, and many more.
Last year’s sold-out show at the Camden Club earned rave reviews, and they’re back to captivate audiences once more.
Also performing are SSB (Sloane Square Band), led by guitarist, singer, and composer Claude Segalin. SSB has its roots in the 1970s under the name SLOANE. The band made waves with their Neo-Progressive Rock sound, reminiscent of Pink Floyd, and continues to evolve with powerful new compositions. After a 40-year hiatus, Segalin revived the band with fresh material and a lineup of talented musicians. Their latest album, Thoughts, features notable contributions from Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), Joniece Jamison (Eurythmics), and many more.
SSB’s stop at the Camden Club is part of their Thoughts tour, a testament to the enduring spirit of Rock and Segalin’s personal journey:
“When I was young and studying in London, I was captivated by British rock. Today, I’m incredibly proud to return and play my own music on the same paths that once inspired me – it’s a dream come true.” says Segalin.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience an afternoon of Progressive Rock.
