Italian Fuzz-Heavy Rockers Dune Aurora are thrilled to announce the release of their long-awaited debut full-length, “Ice Age Desert,” due out November 21, 2025 on Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records. The album will be available in CD and Digital formats, with preorders live now: https://www.argonautarecords.com/shop/cd/818-dune-aurora-ice-age-desert-cd.html
Alongside the album announcement, the band has unveiled their brand new single and official video, “Crocodile,” now streaming via the YouTube player below:
About the new single, the band comments:
We are very happy to present the second single of our upcoming album. Crocodile is a song that merges the dark atmosphere of a lower tuning and a fast tempo, with a structure that creates a continuous flow and a sense of immersion. Together with our first single, Crocodile provides an overview of the dynamics of the album, which varies at the level of cadences, tempos and, in some cases, of tunings. The song explores the insidious nature of friendship and its hidden dangers. The images in the video aim at representing an inner reality devastated by the other, as in a war between different worlds.
With “Ice Age Desert,” Dune Aurora showcase their unique sonic identity, a compelling blend of Stoner heaviness, grunge intensity and dark atmospheres. Their sound recalls the energy and spirit of Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, Jess and the Ancient Ones, Acid King and Ruby the Hatchet, while remaining distinctly their own.
The album was mastered by the legendary James Plotkin (ISIS, Pelican, Earth), whose signature touch amplifies the record’s immersive depth and sonic impact.
“Ice Age Desert” will be released on November 21, 2025 via Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records.
