Italian Psychedelic Heavy Rockers Abissi announce their signing with Octopus Rising/Argonauta Records and celebrate this milestone with the release of their brand-new single and music video, “Pizzo.”

Formed in Milan in 2018, Abissi emerged from the creative minds of Francesco Menghi (former frontman of Veracrash), Luca Ibba (ex-drummer of Alternative Rockers ODE), and Agostino Marino (from Post-Grunge act Little Pig). The lineup was later completed by Alessandro Stranieri on bass, whose new wave–goth background added another distinctive layer to the band’s unique sonic identity.
Abissi craft a powerful blend of Psychedelic Heavy Rock, drawing influences from Stoner and Doom to Alternative, Grunge, Noise and New Wave. The result is an immersive and genre-defying soundscape, perfectly shaped by the urban intensity of their hometown.
After releasing their debut single “Interzona” in 2020, accompanied by a music video, Abissi made their full-length debut with “Oltre,” released on September 25, 2022. Now, with the new single “Pizzo,” the band offers the first intense glimpse into their upcoming second album, “Paramagia,” due in early 2026.
