Swedish artist Johan Steensland has unveiled the official music video for second single “A Perfect Lie” taken from his upcoming album, “Duality,” set for release on September 23, 2025.

The new album ”Duality” reveals Steensland’s leap of musical progress since writing the Rock Opera “Crossfade” (2024) in his youth. ”Duality” is richer in melody and harmony, the lyrics deeper and more poetic. Still, this album rocks out without compromise. The level of musicianship is raised, with guest musicians such as vocalist Aleena Gibson (Kaipa) and guitarist Per Nilsson (Strandberg Guitars, Scar Symmetry, Kaipa).
The second single is the melodic duet “A Perfect Lie.” Here, Steensland is painting a classic Progressive soundscape with parts that should be readily accessible while keeping the more demanding listeners on their toes.
Johan is a Swedish composer, educator, singer and guitarist best known for his contributions to the Progressive Rock scene. But his work also includes Progressive Pop, Soul and Fusion.
