Schallwende presents its annual EM Breakfast on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at Gasthaus Goeke in Bochum-Grumme (Josephinenstraße 65), featuring a live performance by Lüül, the stage name of Lutz Graf-Ulbrich. Known for his pioneering work in the Krautrock scene with Agitation/Agitation Free in the late 1960s, Lüül later collaborated as a guitarist with Manuel Göttsching in Ash Ra Tempel, contributing to some of the most sophisticated and atmospheric explorations of German Progressive and Space Rock.
During this year’s EM Breakfast, Lüül will perform selections from his latest album “Lüüls Lab” — a moving tribute to Manuel Göttsching — accompanied by immersive video projections. The concert promises an elegant journey through refined Krautrock textures, dreamlike guitar layers, and a contemplative sonic dimension that bridges past and present.
An official video for the opening track “Sad and Hopeful,” taken from “Lüüls Lab,” offers a perfect glimpse into this atmosphere. The visuals, created by Dani Graf, enhance the emotional and introspective tone of Lüül’s music.
