Montreal, Quebec based Heavy Psychedelic Rockers MOOCH unveil second single “Hang Me Out (False Sun)” taken from fourth album, “Kin,” wich was just released on June 20, 2025 via Black Throne Productions. Stream the single via the YouTube player below:

MOOCH is a Psychedelic trip that melts down the tree of Blues-rooted Hard Rock music. The Montreal trio is composed of three lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Ben Cornel, Julian Iac, and Alex Segreti. For the old school lovers of The Doors, to the modern day fans of Kikagaku Moyo and Queens Of The Stone Age, MOOCH is the latest iteration of Rock, dripping in Psychedelia.
MOOCH has shared the stage with acts like Yawning Man, Truckfighters, 1000mods, Blackwater Holylight, We Are The Asteroid, Broken Social Scene and Serena Ryder. Their debut LP “Hounds” (2020) was recorded in the California desert and produced by Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Fu Manchu), Bubba Dupree (Void, 3rd Secret), and Joe Segreti (SEGPOP Studio).
“Wherever It Goes” is MOOCH’s 2023 sophomore LP release. The 8-song album is characterised as Heavy Rock, with some Atmospheric slow burns, and features some acoustic songs. It will be the first time that MOOCH showcases its three lead vocalists on a record, as Ben Cornel, Alex Segreti and Julian Iac all take the vocal lead at some point across the record. “Wherever It Goes” was produced by MOOCH and stands as a self-portrait of the band’s sound.
“Sunburner” is the first single from MOOCH’s upcoming Desert Rock odyssey, “Kin.” The song is fast, heavy rip just under 3 minutes, and takes aim at the violent greed in today’s world. Originally written in back in 2017, the song has come to see the light of day as the first single from their latest record.
“Kin” is MOOCH’s fourth full-length LP, due out June 20th, 2025. It is the first album to be released in collaboration with Canadian indie label, Black Throne Productions.
