French Prog Rock band Nine Skies announce that they will be touring in October 2023 with special guest Wedingoth.

The band will present their new album “The Lightmaker,” due to be released on September 18, 2023.

It’ll be the band’s first album release since the tragic death of guitarist Eric Bouillette last year.

Dates are October 11 (Les Arts dans l’R, Péronnas), October 12 (Rock n’ Eat, Lyon), October 13 (Espace Grappelli, Nice) and October 14 (Monster’s Art, Fréjus).

The band say there will be more to announce in 2024 about gigs, so we can hope more dates are coming, perhaps a tour outside France.

The album and the tour will be dedicated to Eric and the show in Nice will be filmed.

So far, Marco Minnemann, Adam Holzman and Riccardo Romano have been announced as guests on the album.

If you follow the band, you are used to their way to announce guests and news during the recording process and we can imagine that more various announcements will follow.

You can still pre-order the album and benefit from exclusive pre-release rewards.
