The Cologne based Heavy Rock power trio Plainride to release the 10th anniversary cassette edition of their album “Return Of The Jackalope” and unveil the new single “Beermachine 2%.” Stream the track via the Spotify player below:
The band states:
“We hope this dispatch finds you well. We’re writing you to inform you that our debut album ‘Return Of The Jackalope’ is turning 10 today. Crazy, we know. Recorded deep in the misty woods of Poland at Szymon Swoboda’s now-decommissioned Vintage Records and originally released via our DIY-imprint Beerfuzz Records on July 24, 2015, it was our first big offering to the world and still holds a dear place in our hearts – as well as a lot of yours, we’re sure.
To celebrate the occasion, we’re releasing a 10th anniversary cassette, hand-numbered by us and strictly limited to an edition of 100. We’ve also taken the freedom of tossing in our re-imagining of ‘Beermachine’ as a bonus track. You can pre-order the cassette through our Bandcamp page now.
Speaking of tracks: We also have some new music at the ready for the lot of ya. Our new song ‘Guillotine Blues’ releases August 6th. We hope you like stomping 7/8 grooves and an angry Max railing against billionaires (we assume you do, you probably wouldn’t be reading this otherwise).
