Their forthcoming debut album “Emerald Dream” drifts through a realm shaped by fractured memories, ancient myths resurfacing in the unconscious, and visions stirred by the intoxicating pull of psychoactive plants. It is an album born where the borders of waking life blur, revealing something older, stranger, and quietly alive beneath the surface.
Drawing deeply from the raw pulse of early 70’s Heavy Rock and the primal weight of proto-Metal, the record pushes Fangus further into their own mythic territory. Fueled by hard prog turns, hypnotic synths lines, and a theatrical sense of occult menace, “Emerald Dream” expands the band’s universe into wilder, more enchanted dimensions. It is both a pilgrimage and a nightmare, and an initiation into a green labyrinth where the roots remember everything.
“Emerald Dream” was recorded by Luc Boivin at Red Tube Studio in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, mixed by Chub and mastered by David Laurendeau, with an artwork by Victor Boudreau and Jim Laflamme. It will be released on LP and digital formats on March 6th through From The Urn Records.

Magically spawned from the underworld in MMXXII, Fangus is steadily drawing believers into their surrealist world through performances that are as unsettling as they are bewitching. Wandering the dim corridors of ancient Heavy Rock and Psychedelia, the band channels a spectral energy, part ritual, part theatre, shaping sounds that feel unearthed. Their presence carries an air of mystery and primitivity, leaving audiences haunted long after the final note fades.
