Cagliari, Italy based Stoner/Heavy Rock band Indigosaur have unveiled the second single “Titania” taken from their debut album, “Cosmic Censor,” set for release on December 05, 2025 via Electric Valley Records.

Formed in Cagliari in 2018 Indigosaur (Lorenzo Alrifai – drums, Ivano Caria – bass, Nicholas Crozier – vocals, Gianni Pintus – guitar) putting togheter the experience accrued through the decades by its members, start working on the songs that would go into their first record. The first live shows are decisive in strengthening the cohesion of the band wich consider the live side of things as the purest expression of their musical sensibilities. After taking a break for reasons of “force majeure,” the band starts playng again at local rock venues and on the rocks of the mountains of Ogliastra and of the coast of the island of San Pietro in a bunch of “secret shows”. They share these concerts with various bands from the local scene (Elepharmers, Ilienses Tree, Black Capricorn, Fuzzriders).
In 2023 Indigosaur record the tracks for the first album and continue to refine their live shows. During the summer of 2025 they open for the american band Duel, engaged on their european tour and, afterwards, for Gramma Vedetta, an Italo/English band from London. At the moment working on new material, Indigosaur are eager to present their work to a new, wider audience.
“Cosmic Censor” is the first record from the band. Nine tracks of powerful, lysergic Heavy Rock, some direct and relentless, others that follow a more complex path. Vocal melodies are entwined with granitic riffs, the rhythm section guides the songs through dynamic instrumental openings and moments of contemplation. The lyrics dwell on pessimistic reflections on the human condition, metaphorical descriptions of astronomical phenomena and their link with mythology. The “Cosmic Censor” is the gravitational abomination from which nothing can escape.
Says the band: “‘Titania,’ second single, is an homage to the Bard, William Shakespeare. Titania is the queen of the fairies but it’s also an icy moon, like the one mentioned somwhere else in the album. The song goes straight to the point, an unstoppable race downhill lead by a syncopated riff and rousing groove. Catchy but dark.”
