Novi Sad, Serbia based Heavy Stoner Rock band Northern Revival return with a brand new single and music video “Gradska Oluja,” this time as a trio.

The band comments: “Our new single ‘Gradska Oluja’ is here! The song is about our city, so everything related to the song and the video was done in Novi Sad.
Miroslav Majkić, better known as Bandar, was responsible for recording, mixing and mastering, and Mihajlo Obrenov was responsible for recording and editing the video, while Nenad Grujić was responsible for lighting and everything else during the video shoot.

Northern Revival became a power trio for the first time a few months ago. Alex, in addition to playing guitar, also took on the role of lead vocalist. The band is preparing a new album to be released in 2026 and this single introduces you to how the band sounds now with a different vocalist.
The single “Gradska Oluja” is dedicated to our hometown of Novi Sad and is the product of the band’s collaboration with the record label Q Records.
Novi Sad was hit by a terrible storm in July 2023. Hurricane winds tore trees and roofs from buildings and houses that fell on cars in the streets, a construction crane fell on nearby buildings, neighborhoods were left without electricity and water, many were injured, and one young life was lost that day.
The band was 100 kilometers away from Novi Sad, filming the video for the song “Broken,” when two members of the band found out that their homes were left without roofs.
This song is dedicated to all the residents of Novi Sad and the event that we overcame but that showed us how small we are compared to nature, which occasionally reminds us that we have to look around us and understand what our role is on the planet we share.
