Italian Experimental/Psychedelic‑Prog band Alcàntara, hailing from Sicily and best known for their 2019 debut “Solitaire,” have just released their brand‑new single, titled “Sail” — available now for stream on YouTube. — Fans can expect the band’s signature blend of Atmospheric guitars, Melodic passages, and hypnotic, Eastern‑tinged textures. The track is taken from their new album “Tamam Shud,” self-released on June 06, 2025.

Seductive and mysterious as its title, which means “it is over” in Persian, it is sung in English and Italian, giving it an intense vocal freshness and a wider range of meaning, in the wake of the Italian Progressive scene of the 1960s and 1970s. More full-bodied and Progressive dynamics are added to the space ballads that marked “Solitaire,” its predecessor.
