Polish Progressive Rock supergroup Strefa Wolnych Myśli (S.W.M.) have unveiled the epic track “1984” taken from their new album, “Wieści z świata,” released on September 10, 2025 via LYNX Music.

Strefa Wolnych Myśli is the original concept of Artur Krystek, whose realization began in January 2023. For this project, he invited a number of distinguished artists, including Piotr Fronczewski, Artur Gadowski, Marek Piekarczyk, Wiktor Zborowski, Andrzej Karp, Marcin Kajper, Michał Jelonek, Kamil Barański, Krzysztof Baranowicz, Tomek “Żaba” Mądzielewski, Paweł Krulikowski, Artur Tabor, Ignacy Wendt, Jarek Kaczmarczyk, Leszek Laskowski, and Piotr Bogutyn.
The result is “Wieści z Świata,” a 40-minute conceptual album deeply rooted in the spirit of Progressive Rock. The lyrical content is powerful and thought-provoking, drawing its main inspiration from the works of George Orwell—most notably his iconic novels “1984” and “Animal Farm,” which serve as recurring thematic pillars throughout the record.
Alongside the Orwellian-inspired pieces, the album also features “Korpo”—a biting commentary on the corporate world, “where someone is always maliciously undermining someone else”—and “Dobro,” a track carrying the uplifting message that goodness will always prevail.
